Tutorial for posting pictures on the Forum-
Using the tiny pic uploader!
Administrators note: When posting a picture on this forum, sometimes the "ADD IMAGE TO POST" button will reject an image, usually when the image exceeds a certain file size. We are aware of this issue, and are currently trying to make the posting of pictures on this forum simple, and easy.Using the tiny pic uploader!
For this reason I added the tiny pic uploader on the top of every page on the forum, which will always work with any image you upload
BEGINNER STEPS:
Step 1: To see the uploader click here:
Step 2:What should pop up is a small box which asks you to choose the image file on the computer, and a button which says Upload!
Step 3: Once you have clicked upload the image uploader will generate an image code like the one shown here;
Now all you have to do is copy and paste the code into the body of your message. Thats it!.
INTERMEDIATE STEPS:
Step 4:If you really want to see how it will look when you post your message, on the bottom of the box you type in to create a post, there are two tabs. One is called "BBCODE" and another is called "Preview".
Clicking preview will translate the written code into pictures! This allows you to see how the post will look before you click "create thread" or "Reply"
EXPERT STEPS:
Step 5: What if you wanted to get creative with your image? Such as centering it on the page? Or making a grid of images? The buttons below can all be used with images! The first button aligns the image to the left, the second centers it, the third aligns it to the right. The last button is a bit more complicated. It creates a cell grid, like excel, where you can post different things within each cell. Don't use this unless you are an ultra expert!
Let us try to center a picture!
Highlight the code of the picture you wish to center:
Click on the "center image button" (second to the left), and this should change the code to look like this:
Click on preview to ensure the image is centered, and you are DONE!
This centering/right justifying/ left justifying, and grid trick also works on text!
Now we can all be code NINJAS and post epic threads on the forum!
