I'd like to recommend 2 South African seed vendors with which I have had experience and hope that others might let us know of other good ones as well. First would be Silverhill Seeds silverhillseeds.co.za/ , Rod and Rachel Saunders have a very extensive and changing list of indigenous plant seeds. Packets are on the smallish side, maybe 25-30 seeds except for rarer ones, but enough to get a good start. Not everything has germinated for me, but I have been very pleased with what has come up (remember germination requirements for many of these are unknown). Also recommended is Lifestyle Seeds, Dawie Human sells most in lots of 100, with some rarer species in smaller amounts. He also sells non South African seeds, but his listings are mostly of South African species, and the amaryllids seeds in particular tend to arrive in very fresh condition (and need to be planted asap). His lisstings can be seen at lifestyleseeds.co.za/
